Accelerator cable

The accelerator cable is located between the accelerator pedal and carburettor, or near the fuel injection system.

When stepping on the pedal which results to no revs, this is known as a heavy pedal. These common faults results to a broken inner cable, which will need to be replaced or redone. Other parts that surrounds the cable might be broken — please keep all parts together before submitting it for repair with Cable Clinic.

Automotive (car) bonnet cable

A car bonnet cable is located between the bonnet release and the catch, right in-front of the car bonnet.
